Spanish for Legal Professionals is designed to help legal professionals (attorneys, judges, paralegals, support staff) become more comfortable with the language when dealing with clients from Spain and Latin America. 

Spanish for Legal Professionals is a basic course which includes grammar, vocabulary, criminal law vocabulary, civil law vocabulary, real legal situations, cultural differences, and helping your clients understand the legal system. 

The Spanish for Legal Professionals program also includes a section on ABA Model Rule 1.4, Client Communication. 

This program can be customized to fit your practice area, or it can be combined with other programs.

• Essential Civil Law Dialogue

Topics include: torts; contracts; ADR; affidavits; and immigration issues.

• Civil Law Situations

Working with clients to prepare them to appear before the court, before another attorney or a mediator and conducting due diligence to protect yourself! Client intake questions, along with family law and tax law issues will be covered.

• Essential Criminal Law

Even if you do not practice criminal law, this will help explain to your client what to expect before working with a criminal law attorney. Topics include: crime prevention; Miranda Rights; and arraignment.

• Criminal Law Situations
